Oscar started Detailer Books from the same frustration many other detailers have; he didn’t know where to start, found it all confusing, and couldn’t find a good bookkeeper. We handle all your bookkeeping needs and work with your CPA to get your tax reporting done each year. Detailer Books also provides consulting to make sure your business is in order.
How much does it cost?
Every business will be in their own unique situation. Pricing is based on the exact needs of your situation. For instance; how many employees do you need for payroll? Are you caught up on your books for this year? Have you filed for last year taxes? Are you keeping track of your revenue and expenses? What's the difference between Detailer Books and services like QuickBooks?
Online software like QuickBooks and Xero are great tools, but the problem is, you have to know how to use them correctly in order for them to be effective. Oftentimes, when detailers do it themselves, it leads to a lot of confusion, errors, and worse, a bigger bill than expected at the end of the year.
I’m going to hire an employee. Can Detailer Books help me set that up?
Yes, we can set up payroll for each employee. The fee to provide payroll services will depend on the number of employees.
Can I do this myself instead of paying someone?
Of course, if you’re willing to spend enough time and effort learning how to do everything correctly. Ask yourself; is this the best use of my time? Probably not. You can’t do it all yourself.
Will Oscar do my bookkeeping?
No, Oscar will NOT handle any of your bookkeeping needs. If he did, you’d have an IRS agent knocking on your front door. Oscar started this service so detailers have a reliable and reputable option for their bookkeeping needs. Alicia is the primary specialist who will take care of your business.
Are there any other hidden fees?
Nope! The only other fee you’ll have is if you need a QuickBooks subscription.
Can you use the software I’ve been using?
Yes. There’s a lot of software tools out there, whatever works for you!
